Teachers

Teaching vacancies are advertised on www.educationposts.ie. Please check regularly for positions that may arise in the school.​ Please note the application procedures in the job advertisement.

Substitute Teaching Work

If you are interested in working as a substitute teacher at ABACAS, please send your CV and Confirmation of Garda Vetting from the Teaching Council to our e-mail address.

 

You must be registered with the Teaching Council to take up any teaching position in our school.

SNAs

SNA vacancies are advertised on www.educationposts.ie. Please check regularly for positions that may arise in the school.​ Please note the application procedures in the job advertisement.

Substitute SNA Work

​If you are interested in working as a substitute SNA at ABACAS, please send the following completed documents to our e-mail address:

You cannot start work without a satisfactory vetting disclosure from the Garda Vetting Bureau. Garda vetting applications can take up to 8 weeks to process.

Work Placements

If your course of study requires that you undertake a placement in a Special School setting, please send the following completed documents to our e-mail address:

Placements cannot proceed without a satisfactory vetting disclosure from the Garda Vetting Bureau. Applications should be submitted  before the Halloween midterm break in the school year in which the placement is required. Garda vetting applications can take up to 8 weeks to process, and so it is important to apply well in advance of your required dates.

NOTE: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, it is not  possible to accommodate everyone.
